The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf criticizes Chief Justice of Pakistan's handling of intelligence agencies meddling in judicial affairs, emphasizing the need for concrete actions and transparent proceedings to uphold judicial independence in Pakistan.

The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has raised objections to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa's handling of the issue of intelligence agencies meddling in judicial affairs. PTI's central information secretary, Raoof Hasan, criticized the CJP for not aligning with the rest of the judiciary on this matter. Hasan reiterated PTI's demand for a full court hearing on a daily basis but suggested that the CJP should distance himself from the bench.

Hasan highlighted the seriousness of meddling in judicial affairs and expressed disappointment over the handling of the issue by the CJP. He pointed out that the CJP referred the matter to the executive, which raised concerns as implicated individuals were involved in the investigation process.

The PTI representatives emphasized the need for concrete actions against those interfering in judicial affairs to prevent such incidents in the future. They criticized the CJP for not following the suggestions of the Peshawar and Lahore high courts and questioned his stance on the matter.

Additionally, the PTI criticized the Punjab government for using force against protesting farmers and highlighted the government's efforts to establish a welfare state. The party expressed concerns about delays in hearing their petitions and raised suspicions about potential constitutional amendments affecting the judiciary.

In conclusion, the PTI remains firm on its stance regarding judicial independence and urges for transparent and fair proceedings to uphold the rule of law in Pakistan.
