PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat's refusal to collaborate with senior party members, revocation of his PAC chairman nomination, and call for nationwide protests highlight internal disputes within PTI and the challenges of maintaining unity and transparent decision-making processes in political organizations.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat has declined to work together with senior party members Shibli Faraz and Omar Ayub Khan, shedding light on internal divisions within the party. Marwat's discontent stemmed from not being permitted to meet PTI founder Imran Khan while he was incarcerated, leading to tensions within the party.

Recently, Marwat's nomination for the position of National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman was rescinded by the party, with Sheikh Waqas Akram appointed as his replacement. This decision was taken during a political committee meeting chaired by Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz, where Marwat's nomination was retracted due to objections raised by the opposition party.

Expressing his disappointment at the party's reversal of his nomination, Marwat voiced his frustration at being marginalized despite his contributions to PTI. He clarified that he is uninterested in holding positions and would be prepared to step down from the National Assembly if requested by the party founder.

Asserting his allegiance to PTI, Marwat highlighted that he joined the party during its challenging times and expressed dismay at being ousted from the political committee without valid justification. He also raised concerns about the party's social media team showing opposition towards him.

Marwat has called for nationwide protests in support of the PTI founder, emphasizing the significance of demonstrating for the reinstatement of the party's mandate and the freedom of Imran Khan. He has urged the nation to participate in countrywide protests on May 9 to exhibit solidarity with PTI.

This recent conflict is not the first time Marwat has encountered internal disputes within the party, having previously clashed with PTI's Taimur Khan Jhagra and engaged in online disagreements with Imran Khan's aide Salman Ahmad.

The internal rift within PTI, exemplified by Sher Afzal Marwat's disagreements with senior party members, underscores the challenges faced by the party in maintaining unity and coherence. Marwat's vocal opposition and call for protests reflect the complexities of party dynamics and the need for transparent decision-making processes within political organizations.
