PTI leaders faced setback as denied meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. Emphasize unity, loyalty, and resistance to discord within the party.

Recently, the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) faced a setback when they were denied permission to meet their party's founder, Imran Khan, at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. Leader of the Opposition in Senate Shibli Faraz and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Omar Ayub were unable to see Khan despite waiting outside the facility for hours. This incident led to protests as the leaders felt humiliated by the denial.

Senator Shibli stressed the importance of unity within the party, emphasizing that there were no internal divisions and all members shared common goals. He asserted the right of elected officials to meet their leader and reaffirmed loyalty to the party.

Responding to rumors of internal factions, Shibli clarified that while groups exist, there are no significant differences that would cause a split. He dismissed the idea of a forward bloc within PTI, highlighting the strong cohesion among its members.

Despite the challenges in meeting Khan, PTI leaders reiterated their dedication to the party's principles and vowed to resist any efforts to create discord. They condemned what they viewed as propaganda aimed at dividing the party.

Omar Ayub expressed disappointment over the denied meeting with Khan, attributing it to alleged government attempts to apply psychological pressure. He affirmed PTI's unwavering support for Khan and announced intentions to hold officials accountable through parliamentary procedures.

Shehryar Afridi, a PTI representative, echoed the sentiment of standing steadfast in support of the party's founder, stressing resilience in the face of external pressures. He accused opponents of trying to destabilize PTI through misinformation.

Shandana Gulzar rejected claims of internal discord and reiterated her alignment with the party's position. She dismissed reports of differences within PTI, underscoring her commitment to the party's unity.

The denial of the meeting between PTI leaders and Imran Khan at Adiala Jail has sparked concerns within the party, but the leaders remain united in their support for their founder. Despite facing obstacles, PTI members are determined to uphold the party's values and resist any attempts to sow division.
