Telangana CM Revanth Reddy criticizes PM Modi and BJP for unfulfilled commitments, urges voters to elect Congress candidate amidst escalating political tensions.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, during road shows in the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency, criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP for failing to fulfill commitments made to Telangana at the time of its formation. Reddy questioned why the commitments outlined in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014 were not implemented by the Modi government.

He alleged that Telangana did not receive funds or industries during PM Modi's 10-year rule and pointed out the unfulfilled promises of the Bayyaram steel factory and Kazipet railway coach factory. Reddy called for a boycott of the BJP and urged voters to defeat the party.

Reddy also accused the BJP of attempting to abolish reservations for SCs, STs, and OBCs, questioning the party's intentions. He appealed to the people of Malkajgiri to elect Congress candidate Sunitha Mahender Reddy and promised the extension of the Hyderabad Metro Rail to Hayath Nagar.

Furthermore, Reddy criticized K. Chandrasekhar Rao, President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), stating that Rao only remembered the people after facing defeat in elections. He mocked Rao's party symbol, suggesting that it was now worthless.

In conclusion, Revanth Reddy's strong words against PM Modi and the BJP reflect the escalating political tensions in Telangana as the state gears up for the upcoming elections.
