BJP National President J. P. Nadda criticizes Mamata Banerjee's government in West Bengal, highlighting lawlessness, weapon cache, and electoral predictions.

In a recent statement, BJP National President J. P. Nadda launched a strong critique against the Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal. Nadda highlighted the alarming situation in Sandeshkhali, where he accused 'anti-social elements' within the Trinamool Congress, specifically mentioning Sheikh Shahjahan, of posing a serious threat to the local women. He condemned the fatal attacks on investigative agencies who were trying to protect the dignity and land of the women in Sandeshkhali.

Nadda emphasized the need for deploying the National Security Guard (NSG) to safeguard the residents, citing the rampant lawlessness allegedly perpetuated by the current administration. He expressed shock at the recovery of a cache of weapons during a recent search operation, including foreign revolvers, police firearms, pistols, guns, bullets, and cartridges. Nadda questioned the transformation of Bengal under Mamata Banerjee's rule, lamenting the presence of arms where cultural heritage like Rabindra Sangeet should prevail.

Furthermore, Nadda raised concerns about the use of fear tactics by the ruling party to secure electoral victories, warning against such strategies. He invoked the legacies of prominent figures like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, and Aurobindo, questioning whether they envisioned a Bengal plagued by violence and intimidation.

In a bold declaration, Nadda predicted that the BJP would secure more than 35 seats in the upcoming elections in West Bengal. He concluded by urging the electorate to demand accountability from Mamata Banerjee regarding the Sandeshkhali incident, portraying it as a reflection of her administration's vulnerabilities and brutality.
