Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized the significance of the Red Line BRT project, stating that the Sindh government has resolved most issues related to the project, with the remaining ones to be addressed promptly. The project, set to operate in three shifts, aims to prioritize public relief and will introduce Pakistan's first biogas-powered bus service.

During a visit to the Red Line BRT construction site, Senior Minister Memon announced that the project's construction will commence in 2022. He condemned the events of May 9 as a dark day in Pakistan's history, highlighting the chaos and destruction incited by certain groups. Memon urged the public to reject leaders or parties promoting violence for personal gain.

Addressing concerns about electric buses, Memon acknowledged challenges with load shedding during charging and assured discussions with K Electric to mitigate such issues. He reaffirmed the Pakistan People's Party's commitment to national development and cooperation with the federal government.

Reviewing the Red Line project's costs with stakeholders, Memon stressed the government's dedication to completing the BRT work efficiently. He directed officials to expedite construction efforts and ensure timely project completion.

Despite setbacks during the caretaker government, Memon underscored the government's focus on enhancing the city's transport sector and resolving public issues promptly. The Sindh government aims to fast-track the Red Line BRT project on Jinnah Avenue and deliver tangible results within the stipulated timeframe.

Highlighting the government's proactive approach, Memon assured continuous efforts to accelerate development projects and address citizens' needs effectively. He encouraged collective participation in advancing the country's progress and dispelling negativity to foster a resilient and prosperous nation.
