Pakistan's PakSat MM-1 Satellite Boosts Communication Infrastructure

The recently launched Pakistani satellite, PakSat MM-1, has been positioned in a geostationary orbit 36,000 kilometers above Earth. Scheduled to begin operations in August, this satellite will offer a variety of communication services, including broadband internet, TV broadcasting, and telecommunication. It was launched from China's Xichang Satellite Launch Center, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan's space exploration endeavors.

PakSat MM-1 is the second communication satellite of Pakistan and is a collaborative project between the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) and China under the National Space Programme-2047.
