Saudi Arabia leads 'Response 14' oil spill readiness exercise

An environmental emergency preparedness exercise, known as 'Response 14,' has kicked off on the Tabuk coast with the aim of boosting preparedness for potential oil spill incidents. This two-day exercise forms a crucial part of the Kingdom's overarching strategy to combat marine pollution stemming from oil and other hazardous substances. Spearheaded by the National Center for Environmental Compliance in conjunction with 39 governmental and private entities, the exercise is a testament to the nation's commitment to safeguarding its marine ecosystems.
