Saudi Arabia has taken proactive measures to ensure the health and well-being of pilgrims arriving in Makkah and Madinah for this year's Hajj pilgrimage. The Madinah Health Cluster has set up a specialized dialysis unit at King Fahd Hospital equipped with 11 machines capable of conducting 22 dialysis sessions daily. These sessions are closely coordinated with medical teams from Hajj companies, resulting in significant benefits for 106 pilgrims who require dialysis treatment.

Moreover, a skilled surgical team at King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah recently performed a successful surgery to save the eyesight of a 58-year-old Turkish pilgrim. The urgent surgery was conducted to repair retinal detachment in her left eye, ensuring that the patient can continue her pilgrimage with restored vision. The medical expertise and swift action of the surgical team have paved the way for the patient's full recovery.

The efforts of Saudi Arabia in providing essential medical assistance to pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage demonstrate a commitment to ensuring the health and safety of all participants. By establishing specialized medical units and delivering prompt surgical interventions, Saudi authorities are not only upholding the spirit of compassion and care but also facilitating a smooth and meaningful pilgrimage experience for individuals from around the world.
