Komatsu Pakistan Soft (KPS) received accolades from the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Wada Mitsuhiro, for its significant contributions to the Information Technology sector. The ambassador praised KPS for harnessing Pakistan's skilled IT workforce to address the global demand for technology professionals, especially in light of Japan's projected shortage of 500,000 IT experts.

Established in 1921, Komatsu has expanded its operations globally and currently operates in 150 countries. The ambassador highlighted the active involvement of Japanese human resource firms in Pakistan, collaborating with local entities to bridge IT professionals with Japanese companies. The IT industry in Pakistan, which took root in the 1990s, has experienced remarkable growth, supported by the government's Digital Pakistan policy.

KPS, a subsidiary of the Komatsu Group, was founded in 1999 and has emerged as a reputable player in the global IT landscape. Specializing in software development and consulting services for Komatsu Group companies worldwide, KPS prioritizes quality, timely delivery, and customized solutions. Zohaib Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA), emphasized KPS's role in showcasing Pakistan's IT talent on a global stage. Nokai Miyata, Chief Representative of JICA in Pakistan, extended congratulations to KPS on its 25th anniversary and acknowledged the company's technical contributions to the IT sector.

In a celebratory gesture, Ambassador Wada Mitsuhiro and other attendees marked KPS's 25th anniversary by cutting a cake, symbolizing the company's accomplishments and unwavering commitment to excellence in the IT industry.
