US Ambassador inaugurates Pakistan's Second Investment Roadshow

The second Investment Roadshow in Pakistan, supported by USAID and inaugurated by the US Ambassador, aimed to boost private sector investment in sustainable energy solutions. The event, organized by the USAID-funded Pakistan Private Sector Energy (PPSE) Project, featured fourteen clean technology companies showcasing their innovative work. PPSE has successfully secured over $30 million for projects focusing on clean energy, e-mobility, and energy efficiency. Ambassador Blome stressed the need for a conducive environment to expand clean energy and reaffirmed the United States' commitment to aiding Pakistan in creating a strong investment climate. He emphasized the importance of investing in clean energy and low-carbon technologies to assist Pakistan in reaching its renewable energy goals.

Dr. Nabeela Umer, Sindh Secretary for Environment, Climate Change, and Coastal Affairs, echoed Ambassador Blome's sentiments, acknowledging US support in Pakistan's energy transition.
