A delegation from CIDCA visited Pakistan, discussing bilateral cooperation, ongoing projects, and mutual prosperity, strengthening Pakistan-China relations.

A delegation from the Chinese International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) led by Chairman Mr. Lou Zhaohai visited Pakistan from April 21st to April 25th, 2024. The delegation, accompanied by the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, engaged in discussions to enhance the relationship between the two nations.

During the visit, the delegation met with Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Mr. Ahad Khan Cheema, on April 22nd, 2024. Minister Cheema welcomed the delegation and recognized CIDCA's role in supporting Pakistan's development initiatives. He also expressed condolences for a recent incident in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and assured increased security measures for Chinese officials in Pakistan.

The meeting focused on various areas of cooperation, including ongoing and future projects such as CIDCA's development portfolio, CPEC, and post-flood reconstruction efforts. Minister Cheema reiterated Pakistan's commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation for the betterment of both nations.

Chairman CIDCA, Mr. Zhaohai, appreciated the warm reception and highlighted the importance of economic cooperation in strengthening bilateral ties. Both sides expressed optimism for the future and emphasized the significance of continued collaboration for mutual prosperity.
