Learn how Envac's Automated Waste Collection System is transforming hospital waste management with advanced technology, enhancing cleanliness, safety, and sustainability.

Smart waste management in hospitals has become increasingly crucial in meeting high safety and environmental standards expected by patients and staff. Compared to other industries, hospitals require advanced solutions to ensure cleanliness and sustainability. The Envac Automated Waste Collection System (AWCS) stands out as a highly effective solution for hospitals, efficiently transporting various types of waste and soiled linen through sealed pipe networks.

This innovative technology has gained significant recognition in numerous hospital projects worldwide. Recently, Envac secured two new contracts in France totaling nearly 10 million euros, highlighting the benefits of the AWCS in enhancing hospital waste management.

Envac's automated waste collection system can be customized to handle multiple waste categories within the pipe network, improving overall cleanliness, sanitation, and sustainability efforts in hospitals. By eliminating traditional carts that obstruct corridors and elevators, this system creates a safer environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The closed system design minimizes the risk of infections, direct contact, and accidents. Touchless technology with sensors at inlets ensures proper waste segregation, further enhancing safety measures within hospital premises.

Reducing manual handling of waste and laundry not only improves health and safety but also proves to be cost-effective. The automatic waste transportation reduces the need for a large workforce dedicated to waste management, streamlining operations efficiently.

Envac is set to implement its cutting-edge technology in the New Artois Metropolitan Hospital in Lens and the Lariboisière – Fernand-Widal AP-HP Hospital in Paris, installing pneumatic waste collection systems for non-clinical waste and soiled linen in both facilities.

The New Artois Metropolitan Hospital will also benefit from a specialized system for handling infectious waste, showcasing Envac's commitment to tailored waste management solutions. With these new contracts, Envac will have equipped a total of six hospitals in France with its advanced waste collection systems, demonstrating the company's success in the French market.

Envac continues to lead the way in sustainable waste management practices globally, helping hospitals enhance their waste management efficiency, sustainability, and hygiene. The Envac AWCS is a game-changer in hospital waste management, setting new standards for safety, cleanliness, and environmental responsibility.
