Gold prices witnessed a decline in local and international markets, with 24 karat gold prices dropping significantly. Silver prices remained stable amidst global market fluctuations.

Gold prices experienced a decline in the local and international markets on Friday, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. The per tola price of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs1,400 to Rs239,600, compared to its previous rate of Rs241,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs1,201 to Rs205,418 from Rs206,619. The prices of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a decrease to Rs188,300 from Rs189,400.

On the other hand, the prices of silver remained stable, with the per tola and ten gram prices holding at Rs2,620 and Rs2,254.80, respectively. In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $11 to $2,297 from $2,308.

This downward trend in gold prices can be attributed to various factors influencing the global market, such as changes in demand, economic indicators, and geopolitical events. Investors and consumers closely monitor these fluctuations to make informed decisions regarding their investments and purchases.
