Houston Partnership Hosts Sialkot Trade Delegation

The Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) recently welcomed a trade delegation from Sialkot, Pakistan, comprising 11 prominent companies. The luncheon meeting, held at the Partnership Tower in Houston and sponsored by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, aimed to strengthen trade relations between the two regions.

During the event, GHP Vice President John Cypher and his team greeted the delegation, underscoring the robust trade connections between Houston and Pakistan. Chief Delegate Zeeshan Zeb and Trade and Investment Attaché of Pakistan Salman Raza led discussions on potential business collaborations, with a focus on key sectors like logistics, healthcare, energy, and aerospace in Houston.

The Sialkot delegation highlighted their region's expertise in sports equipment, leather garments, and healthcare products, paving the way for future partnerships. Both sides explored avenues for cooperation, with plans for a US delegation to visit Pakistan for further business development. GHP committed to participating in the upcoming Pakistan Business Expo in October 2024 to foster relationships between Pakistani companies and Houston.
