Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif emphasized the importance of shifting from loans to investments for the progress of the national economy. He expressed appreciation for the warm reception in Saudi Arabia following Eid prayers in Sialkot. Asif highlighted the significance of investments over loans, citing potential immediate benefits across various sectors. Discussions with the UAE and Qatar were also mentioned, with Asif stressing that the economy's future lies in investments rather than loans.

Asif projected a transformation in the country's economy, noting a positive trend in the stock market and suggesting a reduced reliance on IMF packages. Criticizing the PTI founder for discouraging overseas Pakistani investments, Asif commended the continuous flow of foreign remittances. Addressing the issue of Palestine, he urged global powers to remain mindful of the ongoing struggles faced by Palestinians, criticizing the inaction of countries like America, Britain, and European nations. Asif called for introspection within the Muslim world, highlighting the need for solidarity amidst the silence surrounding Palestinian oppression.

In a separate development, Governor Sindh has urged political parties to consider a peace agreement, signaling a potential shift towards diplomatic resolutions in the region.
