Local Manufacturers to Produce Affordable EV Rickshaws

Electric Vehicle (EV) rickshaws are set to be manufactured locally, aiming to reduce prices to around Rs400,000-500,000 per unit within the country. This initiative comes as a response to the high cost of imported Completely Knocked-Down (CKD) kits for EV rickshaws, which are currently priced at Rs1 million per unit in the domestic market.
