NTDC has set up control rooms and special teams to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in Pakistan. Managing Director Dr. Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan emphasizes vigilance for smooth distribution network.

The National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDC) has taken proactive measures to guarantee a steady power supply across Pakistan during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations. In preparation for the festive period, NTDC has established a central control room to closely coordinate with the National Power Control Center and all distribution companies (DISCOs). Additionally, regional control rooms in Islamabad, Multan, and Hyderabad have been set up to address any potential emergencies that may arise.

These control rooms, operational throughout the holy month of Ramadan, will be interconnected via video link to ensure seamless communication. Special teams from Asset Management (North) and (South) have been assembled to provide immediate assistance in case of any issues at NTDC grid stations or transmission lines nationwide. To maintain uninterrupted power supply, designated officers will be stationed at the grid stations round the clock during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

Managing Director of NTDC, Engr. Dr. Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan, has instructed all NTDC units to remain vigilant and committed to ensuring a smooth power distribution network throughout the country during Eid-ul-Fitr.

With meticulous planning and dedicated teams in place, NTDC is well-prepared to handle any challenges that may arise and is committed to providing uninterrupted power supply to the nation during the festive period of Eid-ul-Fitr.
