Pakistan Government Launches 10,000 e-Rozgar Centers

The Pakistan government, in collaboration with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), has initiated a groundbreaking project to establish 10,000 e-Rozgar centers across the country. These centers are designed to provide essential support to freelancers in a centralized environment, offering a host of amenities to enhance their working experience.

Operational e-Rozgar centers are equipped with high-speed internet, UPS facilities, training resources, private workspaces, meeting rooms, and dedicated office spaces for startups. These provisions aim to create a conducive environment for freelancers to thrive and excel in their respective fields.

An official from the Ministry of Information Technology expressed the government's commitment to empowering freelancers, both established and new, to work independently and competitively. The successful implementation of this initiative is projected to significantly boost IT exports, potentially reaching an impressive $10 billion annually.

By fostering partnerships between the public and private sectors, these e-Rozgar centers seek to enhance freelancers' skills and earnings substantially.
