The export of electric fans from Pakistan has shown a positive trend, with a notable increase of 4.75% during the first nine months of the current financial year (2023-24) compared to the same period last year. According to data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the country exported electric fans worth US $19.760 million from July to March 2024, up from US $18.864 million in the corresponding period of 2022-23.
Furthermore, the volume of exported electric fans also saw a significant rise of 48%, increasing from 1,085 thousand to 1,307 thousand units. In a year-to-year comparison, the exports of electric fans surged by 11.61% in March 2024 when compared to March 2023, reaching $3.908 million from $3.501 million.
Moreover, the month-on-month analysis for March 2024 revealed a substantial growth of 30.70% in electric fan exports, with figures standing at $3.908 million compared to $2.990 million in February 2024.
