PHA Initiatives Boost Financial Sustainability and City Beautification

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) is taking significant steps to address financial challenges by increasing its self-income, as highlighted by Director General Asif Rauf Khan. The department is currently in the process of planning and implementing various measures to achieve this goal.

One of the key initiatives being pursued is the formulation of policies related to the metro bus route pillars. Additionally, efforts are underway to beautify the city through projects like the construction of the PHA Complex. The department is also reviewing its income sources, with a particular focus on advertising boards.

Furthermore, a major emphasis is being placed on extensive tree plantation in green belts and parks across the city. This holistic approach aims to not only enhance the aesthetics of the city but also generate revenue for the PHA.
