Saudi Arabia's non-profit sector experiences significant growth in March, aligning with Vision 2030 goals. Minister Al-Rajhi commends organizations for contributions, emphasizing governance and service excellence.

Saudi Arabia's non-profit sector experienced significant growth in March, with a 1.4 percent increase and the registration of 72 new organizations. The National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development reported a total of 4,721 registered bodies, marking a substantial 182 percent rise since 2018.

During March, the Kingdom witnessed the establishment of 57 civil associations, seven civil society organizations, and eight family funds, underscoring the sector's expanding diversity and impact. This growth aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, aimed at economic diversification and social development.

Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, commended the non-profit organizations for their sustainable contributions and successful project implementations. The National Center highlighted the sector's continuous progress, emphasizing improvements in governance and operational efficiency.

The Center also announced regulatory actions against certain organizations and individuals, including warnings and dismissals, to ensure compliance and accountability within the sector.

Al-Rajhi noted the high satisfaction rate among beneficiaries of non-profit services, reaching 86 percent, surpassing the 2025 target. The sector boasts over 800,000 volunteers and has secured government contracts worth SR6 billion ($1.6 billion) since 2018.
