A Saudi delegation visited Jinnah International Airport in Karachi to inspect facilities and discuss arrangements for the Makkah project, focusing on immigration processes and ensuring smooth operations for Hajj pilgrims.

A two-member delegation from Saudi Arabia recently visited Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) in Karachi to inspect the airport's facilities and discuss arrangements for the route to the Makkah project. The delegation, accompanied by the Saudi Consulate General in Karachi, was warmly welcomed by the Civil Aviation Authority's acting Airport Manager and other agency representatives upon their arrival.

During the visit, the Airport Manager provided the delegation with a detailed tour of the airport's facilities, focusing on the path that Hajj pilgrims would take from the main entrance to the immigration area. The delegation expressed particular interest in the entry process for intending pilgrims and the allocation of immigration space. Discussions also covered topics such as the allocation of the immigration hall, handling private Hajj pilgrims, and distinguishing between government and private scheme pilgrims.

Emphasis was placed on the importance of pilgrims arriving at least 5 hours before their flight to allow sufficient time for necessary procedures and preparations before departure. The delegation's visit aimed to ensure smooth operations and efficient services for pilgrims traveling to Makkah.
