In recent developments, the construction of Walton Road and the Celestia IT Tower in the Central Business District (CBD) Punjab has gained significant attention. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance infrastructure and promote technological growth in the region. The CBD Punjab aims to create a modern urban environment that supports businesses and fosters innovation.

On Saturday, Imran Amin, the CEO of CBD Punjab, held a meeting to review the progress of these projects. He was joined by key officials, including Riaz Hussain, Executive Director Technical CBD Punjab, and other directors responsible for architecture, construction, and project management. The meeting served as a platform to discuss the current status of the Walton Road up-gradation and the construction of the IT Tower.

During the meeting, it was reported that the ongoing asphalt work on Walton Road, stretching from Defence Morr to Qainchi, has achieved remarkable success. In just one day, nearly 500 tons of asphalt were laid, showcasing the efficiency of the construction teams. Furthermore, the top slab of the Ishaq Shaheed Flyover has been completed, and preparations for asphalt application are now underway.

Another significant milestone was reached with the Celestia IT Tower, where excavation work has been finalized. This marks a crucial step in the construction process, as the team is now focused on pouring lean concrete for the raft foundation. This phase is progressing well, with the first phase nearing 60 percent completion.

Imran Amin emphasized the importance of these projects, stating, "Walton Road is scheduled to be operational by the end of October 2024, aligning with the directives of the Punjab Chief Minister." He further highlighted that CBD NSIT City is set to transform the IT sector in Punjab, establishing new standards for innovation and growth.

The developments on Walton Road and the Celestia IT Tower are not just about construction; they represent a vision for the future of Punjab. As these projects progress, they promise to create job opportunities, attract investments, and ultimately enhance the quality of life for residents.
