Zia Chishti wins defamation case against Narratives Magazine

Pakistani-American tech entrepreneur Zia Chishti has secured a significant legal victory in a defamation case against Narratives Magazine and its editor. The lawsuit was initiated following damaging allegations of sexual misconduct and corporate law violations made by the magazine, tarnishing Mr. Chishti's esteemed reputation as a successful entrepreneur known for founding Invisalign dental braces and Afiniti artificial intelligence.

Recently, Additional District Judge Lahore Muhammad Farhan Nabi ruled in favor of Zia Chishti, dismissing the baseless and malicious accusations. The court ordered the magazine editor to pay Rs5 million in damages to Mr. Chishti and issue a public apology and clarification regarding the defamatory article.

Represented by barrister Faisal Nawaz, Zia Chishti intends to continue his legal battles to safeguard his integrity. Magazine Editor Amir Zia, on the other hand, expressed plans to challenge the court's decision following an initial response to Mr. Chishti's legal team.
