Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana recently led a meeting to evaluate the performance of Model Town and Saddar divisions in Lahore. The meeting focused on key aspects such as law enforcement, public service delivery, and professional conduct.

During the meeting, CCPO Lahore stressed the significance of maintaining close coordination with event organizers to ensure a peaceful observance of Muharram ul Haram. He also highlighted the implementation of 'Key Performance Indicators' by the Punjab Chief Minister to assess police effectiveness and underlined the importance of regular inspections of police stations to monitor staff performance.

Officers were directed to give priority to community policing, embrace modern crime control techniques, and exhibit diligence, dedication, and integrity in their public service duties. The CCPO also emphasized the urgency of improving emergency response times, enhancing service delivery, and enforcing strict measures against activities like aerial firing, kite flying, and motorcycle thefts. Strategies were discussed to tackle drug peddling near educational institutions through intensified anti-narcotics operations.

The meeting further focused on ensuring justice for the oppressed to rebuild public trust in the police department. Various high-ranking officials, including DIGs, SSPs, ASPs, Circle Officers, SHOs, and In Charges Investigation, were present to deliberate and implement these directives.
