An unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday in Matta tehsil of Swat district, where the roof of a private school collapsed, causing injuries to 19 school children, with three of them in critical condition. The incident took place in Tangar area of Matta, and all the children were rescued from the debris and given initial medical aid before being taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Matta.
The school administration revealed that at the time of the roof collapse, a total of 19 children were present, out of which six nursery class students suffered severe injuries. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa expressed sadness over the incident and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured students. He also directed the authorities to ensure that the injured children receive the best possible medical treatment.
