Students from DJMC, IUST, recently embarked on an educational excursion to a local daily newspaper to gain insights into the dynamic field of journalism. Led by Dr. Rabia Noor, Assistant Professor at DJMC, the visit aimed to introduce students to the inner workings of a newspaper and the diverse roles within it.

During the excursion, students had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals like Nazir Ganaie, the Multimedia Head, who shed light on the evolving responsibilities of journalists in today's digital age. Emphasizing the importance of multimedia storytelling, Ganaie encouraged students to develop a versatile skill set to stay relevant in a rapidly changing media landscape influenced by technology and social media.
