This arrest came after the identification of three passengers rescued from Libya, leading to the capture of another individual, Bilal, who was reportedly involved in human smuggling activities originating from Faisalabad.

According to the FIA spokesperson, the arrested individual had taken Rs 2.5 million from citizens seeking assistance in crossing the border from Libya to Greece. Further investigations revealed evidence of human trafficking and hawala transactions on the suspect's mobile phone, indicating connections with an international gang involved in these illegal activities.

Following the arrests, all suspects were promptly transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for thorough investigation and legal proceedings. The FIA's swift action in apprehending these individuals underscores the agency's commitment to combating human smuggling and trafficking, safeguarding vulnerable individuals from falling prey to such criminal networks.
