In a successful operation, the Dera police apprehended a suspect linked to various theft cases in the city circle. The arrest took place at the City police station, where law enforcement officers recovered three stolen goats and the vehicle used in the crimes.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of SDPO City Circle Muhammad Adnan and SHO Arslan Khan Gandapur. The accused, identified as Muhammad Afaq, a resident of Mohalla Ship Shah, was found to be connected to several theft incidents. Along with the recovery of the stolen goats, the police also seized the vehicle with the registration number SZ-702 that was used in the criminal activities.

DSP City Muhammad Adnan revealed that the accused was not only involved in goat theft but also in the stealing of manhole covers. Following the arrest, a case was registered against Muhammad Afaq, and investigations are underway to gather more evidence.

Dera Ismail Khan has been facing a series of thefts in recent months, causing concern among residents and authorities. The police have been actively working to curb such criminal activities and bring the perpetrators to justice.
