A notorious criminal gang in Multan City, led by Ameer Hamza Siddiqui, has been apprehended by the diligent efforts of the police, resulting in the prevention of multiple robbery-cum-murder incidents. An infamous gang of criminals responsible for a series of robbery-cum-murder incidents in Multan city has been apprehended by the diligent efforts of the old Kotwali police. The gang, consisting of seven members led by Ameer Hamza Siddiqui, was involved in a string of violent crimes targeting shops and citizens across various areas of Multan.

The gang's criminal activities included the fatal shooting of a young man named Farhan during a robbery at a grocery store in Mohallah Tibbi Shair Khan, where they escaped with Rs 15000 in cash. Additionally, they injured a man named Muhammad Idrees at a paint shop in Chungi No 8 and shot at a security guard during a road robbery, snatching Rs 4000 from a pedestrian. These were just a few instances of the over 30 criminal incidents attributed to the gang.

Following the escalating crime spree, CPO Sadiq Ali formed special teams under the supervision of SSP Operations Arsalan Zahid and SSP Investigations Rana Muhammad Ashraf. With the dedicated efforts of SP Gulgasht Ayaz Hussain, DSP Rana Zaheer Babar, and SHO Old Kotwali Ms Shabana Saif, the gang members were successfully tracked down and arrested.

The accused have confessed to their involvement in criminal activities spanning multiple police areas in Multan, including old Kotwali, Chelyak, Gulgasht, Mumtazabad, Lohari gate, BZU area, Shah Shams, Shah Rukn-e-Alam, Jalil Abad, and Qutub Pur. Police seized seven motorcycles, ten mobile phones, and Rs 250,000 in cash from the arrested individuals, providing a significant breakthrough in curbing crime in the city.
