The tragic death of 12-year-old Sufian Amir Shah in Hyderabad sparks community outrage and demands for justice as authorities investigate the case.

On June 15, a heartbreaking event shook Hyderabad as the lifeless body of 12-year-old Sufian Amir Shah was discovered near the office of DSP Husri subdivision. Reports suggest that the young boy had been subjected to abuse before his untimely death. While the postmortem examination at Liaquat University Hospital has revealed distressing details, the final report is still awaited.

Sufian's father, Amir Shah, shared that his son had gone out with friends to swim in the canal but never returned home. His body was later found in a street close to the DSP's office. In response, the police have detained two suspects for initial questioning, including a tea delivery person from the police station.

Following this tragic incident, the child's family and neighbors organized a protest, blocking the Hyderabad-Tando Muhammad Khan road to voice their frustration over the perceived lack of progress in the investigation, holding the police responsible. The situation calmed down after MPA Sabir Hussain Qaimkhani from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan intervened, assuring personal follow-up on the case with the authorities.
