Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi's legal cases face delay as judge transfer halts proceedings, raising concerns among provincial assembly members.

Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and his spouse Bushra Bibi faced a setback as the hearing for Imran Khan's six cases and Bushra Bibi's bail plea could not proceed in the district and session court of Islamabad. The delay was attributed to the transfer of additional session judge Tahir Abbas Sipra to an anti-terrorism court, leaving a vacancy in the Kachahri without a replacement judge.

During the proceedings, lawyer Khalid Yousaf represented Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in court. The absence of a judge in the Kachahri has led to a standstill in the legal process for the cases involving the prominent political figures.

Meanwhile, provincial assembly members have reportedly raised concerns about public issues, with Maryam Nawaz being informed about the ongoing challenges faced by the public.

In light of these developments, the legal proceedings for Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are currently on hold until a new judge is appointed to oversee the cases. The uncertainty surrounding the judicial appointments has added a layer of complexity to the legal matters at hand, further prolonging the resolution of the cases.
