INSC 2024: Celebrating Global Scientific Collaboration

The International Nathiagali Summer College (INSC) on Physics and Contemporary Needs, organized by the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), is all set to kick off on June 24, 2024, in Islamabad. This annual event, which has been running since 1976, serves as a platform for scientists from around the world to come together and exchange ideas. The INSC was founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Dr. Abdus Salam, with a vision to promote global scientific communication and knowledge sharing.

This year's INSC will feature a special session dedicated to celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of CERN, with a focus on the collaboration between Pakistan and CERN. Pakistan's partnership with CERN as an associate member highlights the country's commitment to advancing scientific research on an international scale.

Throughout its history, the INSC has hosted over 1,000 distinguished scientists, including eight Nobel Laureates, who have shared their expertise with participants from over 75 developing countries. This year's discussions will delve into cutting-edge topics such as Quantum Technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning, and Semiconductor Technologies & Coatings, providing valuable insights for scientists and researchers.

The 49th INSC-2024 is scheduled to run until July 6, 2024, in Nathiagali, offering a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration among the global scientific community.
