Islamabad Traffic Police Intensifies Safety Measures

The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has recently announced special measures aimed at enhancing the safety of citizens and their property, as well as ensuring smooth traffic flow within the city. The initiative comes as part of a broader strategy to minimize accidents and uphold traffic regulations effectively.

Under the directives of SSP Traffic Islamabad Sarfraz Virk, the ITP has ramped up its efforts to crack down on vehicles operating without proper fitness certificates and those equipped with gas cylinders. Stringent legal actions will be taken against such violators to mitigate potential risks and maintain order on the roads.

Public service vehicles found to be in violation of traffic rules, especially those engaged in serious offenses, will face impoundment and hefty fines. Additionally, drivers and vehicles engaging in unlawful activities at designated stops across the city will be subject to immediate enforcement actions.
