City Traffic Police in Multan intensifies efforts to curb dangerous wheelie stunts during Eid, deploying specialized squads and addressing traffic congestion issues to enhance road safety.
City Traffic Police (CTP) in Multan has taken a firm stance against motorcyclists engaging in dangerous wheelie stunts during the upcoming Eid festivities. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Jalil Imran Ghalzai has established a specialized anti-one-wheeling squad to combat this hazardous behavior within the city.
The CTO emphasized the deployment of traffic lifters in various areas to address issues such as improper parking, a significant contributor to traffic congestion. Additional personnel will be stationed at flyovers to apprehend individuals performing wheelies, a reckless act that endangers both the riders and other road users.
Aligning with the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, the licensing centers are operating 24/7 to cater to the public's needs. These centers will remain operational throughout the Eid holidays, ensuring continuous service for citizens.
The proactive measures taken by the Multan City Traffic Police demonstrate a commitment to enhancing road safety and maintaining order during the festive period. By cracking down on dangerous behaviors like one-wheeling and addressing traffic congestion issues, the authorities aim to create a safer environment for all residents and visitors in Multan.
