The Lahore High Court suspends the victory notification of PML-N's Rana Arshad in PP-133, Nankana Sahib, pending further legal proceedings. The decision indicates a potential shift in the election outcome.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has taken a significant decision by suspending the victory notification of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) Rana Arshad from PP-133, Nankana Sahib. This ruling came in response to a petition filed by independent candidate Muhammad Atif, challenging the victory notification of Rana Arshad.

According to the petitioner's counsel, Muhammad Atif had initially won from PP-133 by a margin of 3500 votes. However, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) ordered a vote recount, which resulted in Rana Arshad being declared the winner by a margin of 2500 votes. The court, after hearing the arguments, decided to suspend the victory notification for Rana Arshad and has requested responses from the ECP and other relevant parties.

This development highlights the legal battle surrounding the election results in PP-133, Nankana Sahib. The decision to suspend the victory notification indicates a potential shift in the outcome of the election, pending further legal proceedings and a final decision by the court.
