Muzaffargarh Police Officials Suspended for Diesel Smuggling

In a recent development in Muzaffargarh, three police officials have faced suspension due to their alleged involvement in smuggling Iranian diesel. The officials, namely ASI Mushtaq, driver Fayaz, and constable Saeed from Rangpur Police Station, were found engaged in illicit activities. They were reportedly taking kickbacks in return for smuggling and selling the diesel across different areas of the district.

The District Police Officer (DPO) Husnain Haider took swift action by suspending the accused officials. This step was taken in line with maintaining law and order and upholding the integrity of the police force. The authorities have initiated further investigations into the matter to uncover the full extent of the illegal operation. Any necessary actions will be carried out following the guidelines set forth in the Peda Act of 1976.
