NADRA collaborates with post offices for streamlined ID services

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new initiative to make it easier for citizens to obtain identity cards by collaborating with post offices. This innovative program aims to streamline the process of issuing, renewing, and updating identity cards by leveraging the extensive network of post offices across the country.

Currently, this service is available at 83 selected General Post Offices (GPOs) and post offices nationwide. These designated locations will provide convenient access to essential services related to identity cards, ensuring that citizens can easily manage their official documentation.

Operating hours for these service points have been carefully planned to cater to the needs of the public. Services will be offered from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Saturday. On Fridays, the timings will be adjusted to 9 am to 12:30 pm to accommodate local customs and practices. Moreover, the pricing for these services will remain consistent with NADRA centers, preventing any additional financial burden on citizens.

It is important to highlight that the creation of National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) will not be available at these post office locations. Citizens interested in learning more about these services or locating their nearest service point are encouraged to visit the official NADRA website for further assistance.
