An alleged operative of the Ahmed Magsi group, Obaid Ullah, was arrested by the PIB Colony police on charges of extortion. During the arrest, illegal weapons and mobile phones were seized from him. He had demanded ransom from a cloth merchant in Iran and shared sensitive information with an individual in Iran.

The suspect is currently undergoing interrogation, and efforts are underway to apprehend his associates.
