Outlaws Assault Mepco Official, Steal Phone in Muzaffargarh

Recently, a group of seven outlaws found themselves in hot water after being accused of assaulting a Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) official and stealing his mobile phone in Muzaffargarh. The incident took place at Taleri Bypass, where meter reader Muhammad Irshaad uncovered power theft at a furniture shop owned by Rasheed Ahmed in Muhallah Roshinabad near Taleri Bypass. During the investigation of the power theft, Irshaad was viciously attacked by Rasheed Ahmed, Nazir Ahmed, Iqbal Hussain, Sohail Ahmed, and three other unidentified individuals. Not only did they physically harm the Mepco official, but they also snatched his mobile phone before making a quick getaway.

Upon receiving a complaint from SDO Mepco Muhammad Akram, the City police wasted no time in taking action. A case has been registered against the four identified suspects and three others under various legal sections. Police sources have assured the public that the culprits involved in the power theft will soon be brought to justice.
