Pakistan Army establishes a mobile health unit in North Waziristan, providing free medical services and education on hygiene and polio prevention to the local community.
In a commendable initiative, the Pakistan Army set up a mobile health unit in Spinwam tehsil of North Waziristan to offer free medical services to the local residents. The camp, located near the Pak-Afghan border, catered to over 800 individuals from the GulabKhel and Zakirkhel areas.
During the camp, the attendees received complimentary treatment, including free medicines and access to ultrasound services. To ensure comprehensive care, a dedicated female doctor was present to attend to the women's health needs. Additionally, the community members were educated on basic hygiene practices and the significance of polio prevention.
The local population expressed their gratitude towards the Pakistan Army for organizing this much-needed medical camp, which not only addressed their immediate healthcare needs but also raised awareness about essential health practices.
