Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti of Balochistan has taken a significant step towards improving emergency medical services in the province by directing the establishment of two modern trauma centers in different parts of Quetta. This decision aims to enhance medical assistance and provide timely care to individuals in need.

During a recent meeting, CM Bugti reviewed plans presented by the Health Department Secretary to improve medical services in Balochistan. Impressed by the detailed information, Bugti instructed the Communications and Works and Health departments to identify suitable locations for the new trauma centers.

The urgent need for these trauma centers was emphasized by Bugti to alleviate the pressure on the existing trauma center at Civil Hospital Quetta. He also highlighted the importance of starting medical services promptly at trauma centers in Khuzdar and Zhob to cater to patients currently seeking treatment in other regions of the country.

To further enhance emergency medical services and save lives during accidents, the CM stressed the importance of connecting rescue centers along highways with the new trauma centers. These centers will be equipped with advanced technology and devices to provide optimal medical care to individuals injured in road accidents.

Bugti also instructed for a review and relocation of the trauma center at Civil Sandeman Hospital to a more suitable location. Once operational, the trauma centers will ensure timely and high-quality treatment for injured and burn patients, reducing the need for patients to seek medical care outside the province.

The establishment of modern trauma centers in Balochistan under the directive of CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti signifies a significant improvement in emergency medical services in the province. These centers will not only provide timely and high-quality care to those in need but also reduce the burden on existing medical facilities. By prioritizing the well-being of the residents, Bugti's initiative is a crucial step towards enhancing healthcare services in Balochistan.
