Pakistan Railways introduces special Eid trains for travelers

Pakistan Railways has unveiled plans to operate two special trains from Karachi to accommodate passengers during the upcoming festive season. These trains are designed to meet the high demand for travel between Karachi and Lahore, as well as Karachi and Peshawar, specifically during Eid celebrations. The official schedule for these trains will be announced after the sighting of the Zilhajj moon, allowing travelers to plan their trips accordingly.

One of the special Eid trains will travel from Karachi to Lahore, offering both economy and AC class coaches to suit different travel preferences. The second special train will journey from Karachi to Peshawar, providing economy-class coaches exclusively. This initiative aims to offer a comfortable and affordable travel option for passengers heading to various parts of Pakistan.

Earlier this year in March, Pakistan Railways had introduced four special trains to facilitate Eidul Fitr travelers. These trains operated on different routes across the country, with the first train departing from Karachi to Peshawar on April 7.
