Peshawari Ice Cream Owners Targeted in Fatal Karachi Attack

An unfortunate incident unfolded near Karachi's Gurumandir area, where a group of armed men attacked a vehicle carrying five brothers. Tragically, two brothers lost their lives in the assault, while two others sustained injuries. The fifth brother miraculously escaped unharmed from the targeted shooting. The brothers were en route to a court appearance at the Central Jail when the harrowing event took place.

The deceased were identified as Shahid and Umair, prominent figures as the owners of the popular dessert shop Peshawari Ice Cream. Wajid, another brother, was among the injured, while Muhammad Shan managed to evade harm during the attack.

Law enforcement officials discovered 17 9mm shell casings at the crime scene, which have been sent for forensic examination. The police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident, with initial indications pointing towards personal animosity as the motive behind the targeted attack.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Jamshed Aleena Rajper described the assault as a premeditated act and assured the public that measures are being taken to swiftly capture the culprits responsible for this heinous crime.
