Phuleli police in Hyderabad capture outlaw Sajjad Kasuri after a shootout near Jurial Shah graveyard. The suspect sustained a bullet wound and was found with 2 kilograms of hashish and a pistol.

On April 30, 2024, a patrolling team from Phuleli police station in Hyderabad successfully apprehended a suspected outlaw following an encounter near Jurial Shah graveyard. The incident occurred when the police attempted to stop two individuals on a motorbike for a routine check. Instead of complying, the suspects opened fire on the police in an attempt to flee. During the exchange of gunfire, one of the suspects, identified as Sajjad Kasuri alias Sajju, sustained a bullet wound and fell from the motorbike. His accomplice managed to escape the scene.

Sajjad Kasuri was promptly taken into custody by the police and transferred to Liaquat University Hospital for surgery to treat the bullet wound in his leg. Upon searching the suspect, the police discovered a pistol and 2 kilograms of hashish in his possession.

This incident highlights the risks faced by law enforcement officers during routine patrols and the dangers posed by individuals involved in criminal activities. The swift action taken by the Phuleli police station demonstrates their commitment to maintaining law and order in the region.
