Hyderabad Police Capture Suspected Criminals in Encounters

Hyderabad police have successfully apprehended two suspected criminals in separate encounters, both resulting in the suspects sustaining gunshot injuries. The first incident took place when City police acted on a tip-off about a gang of motorbike thieves in a neighborhood behind the White House laundry. Upon confrontation, the suspects attempted to escape and fired at the officers. One suspect, identified as Waseem Shar, was wounded in the leg, arrested, and found in possession of a pistol. He is believed to be an active member of a criminal gang specializing in street crimes and motorbike thefts. Shar was taken to Liaquat University Hospital for medical treatment.

In another incident, the B-Section police engaged in a shootout with two suspects near Bismillah City graveyard. One of the suspects, Muhammad Hussain Bukhari, was hit by a police bullet, apprehended, and found with a pistol. His associate managed to flee the scene on a motorbike. Bukhari, described as a street criminal, was also taken to LUH for treatment. These arrests bring the total number of suspects captured in injured conditions to three since the new SSP Farrukh Ali Lanjar took office on May 19.
