Rescue 1122 Ambulance Collision: Tragic Incident Unfolds Near Hakla Interchange

On a fateful Friday night, a devastating accident unfolded near the Hakla Interchange, claiming the lives of five individuals and leaving three others critically injured. The incident involved a Rescue 1122 ambulance, en route from Attock to Rawalpindi with a paraplegic patient, colliding with an oil tanker. Among the casualties were three women, including the female patient being transferred due to inadequate facilities at the Attock hospital.

The victims, comprising a medical technician, three women from the same family, and a man, faced the brunt of the collision's impact. The ambulance, carrying a total of eight individuals, including rescue personnel, was left in ruins, necessitating extrication of two individuals trapped inside.
