Rescue Efforts Save Children from Canal Tragedy

In a heartbreaking incident in Kotri, Jamshoro district, five children found themselves in grave danger as they fell into the treacherous waters of the KB Feeder Canal. Local divers sprang into action, managing to rescue four of the children in the nick of time. However, one child, a 7-year-old girl named Guddi, remained missing as the sun set on Tuesday.

The tragic event unfolded as the children, including three siblings - Asifa Chandio, Rashida Chandio, and Owais Chandio - attempted to save each other from the canal's depths. Despite the valiant efforts of the divers and the successful rescue of most of the children, young Guddi's whereabouts continue to be a cause of concern.

All five children hailed from Hussain Shah Colony, adding a poignant local dimension to the incident. The community now stands united in grief and hope, praying for the safe return of Guddi and offering support to the affected families.
