Punjab Police Supports Children with Cerebral Palsy

Recently, the Punjab Police has taken a commendable step by allocating additional funding to assist 582 children of police personnel who are suffering from cerebral palsy. This initiative aims to provide financial aid and medical support to these children, showing the department's commitment to their well-being.

The Punjab Police has disbursed 10,000 rupees per child per month, along with an additional 30,000 rupees per child for medical expenses covering the months of April to June. This generous support amounts to a total of more than 17 million rupees, demonstrating the significant investment made by the police department in helping these children.

The Inspector General of Punjab Police emphasized that each affected child will receive 10,000 rupees monthly, totaling 120,000 rupees annually. Moreover, a substantial budget of over 70 million rupees has been earmarked specifically for the treatment of children with cerebral palsy this year. This underscores the police department's dedication to providing top-quality free medical care to these vulnerable children.
